Tripodsy standing desk with MacBook Pro |
- Tripodsy standing desk, that I carried up in a 24" duffel bag:
- Apple MacBook Pro 14" with a ShaggyMax screen protector and Speck FlapTop sleeve (says it’s for the 13" Air and it fits that, too, bu the MBP 14" fits perfectly).
- NuPhy Air75 with brown switches, shine-through keycaps and revised logic board. (I’m not sure I’d use this keyboard like this again. The brown switches aren’t my favorites, and I’ve misplaced the magnetic feet that tilt the keyboard up. My RK71 swapped to Kailh Box Hako Royal Clear switches, in a travel case, might have been a better choice.)
- .
- Logitech i345 Pebble portable mouse with an EBL rechargeable AA battery and a small mouse pad. (The mouse lives in my “accessory pack,” which I brought with me. Has a built in USB Micro B port for charging, no external charger needed.)
- Bose QC35 II wireless headset.
- Current additional kit:
- iPad 9th Generation with Apple Pencil 1st Generation and a case with a pencil holder, and a Folio v2 case to use the iPad with the NuPhy keyboard
- UGREEN CD226 100W charger (USB-C and -A). Like this a lot, but I think I’m also going to pick up an Anker 65W power strip with USB-C PD charging and a space-saving 3' cable, as outlets aren’t always the most accessible. (Edit: I did, the Anker 615.)
- Zendure SuperTank Pro
- Belkin Boost Charge Power Bank 2K for Apple Watch (also
- Apple MagSafe Battery Pack with a Lightning cable to charge it and my phone simultaneously
A very capable setup that doesn’t add much in weight or bulk (especially when you’re already lugging skis, boots ...)
