Anker 615
Anker 615 USB Power Strip
Picked up the Anker 615 (A9125) for my “remote office.” Love this gadget. Manual. Wraps up neatly to travel compactly, but once on site the cord unwraps to 3' in length, with (2) 125V AC outlets and a combination of USB ports that can provide up to 65W USB-C PD, or a more usable 45W on one and 18W on the other, or (still enough to run a MacBook Air, recharge an iPad, and ...) 30W/20W/12W with all three USB ports occupied:

  • USB-A: 5V2.4A (12W max)
  • USB-C 1 / USB-C 2: 5V3A/9V3A/15V3A; 20V3.25A (65W max each port)
  •  USB-C 1 + USB-C 2:
    • USB-C 1: 5V3A/9V3A/15V3A/20V2.25A (45W max)
    • USB-C 2: 5V3A/9V2A (18W max)
  • USB-C 1 + USB-C 2 + USB-A:
    • USB-C 1: 5V3A/9V3A/15V2A/20V1.5A (30W max)
    • USB-C 2: 5V3A/9V2.22A (20W max)
    • USB-A: 5V2.4A (12W max)
  • USB-C 1 / USB-C 2 + USB-A:
    • USB-C 1 / USB-C 2: 5V3A/9V3A/15V3A/20V2.25A (45W max)
    • USB-A: 5V2.4A (12W max)

Anker 525 Charging Station
Definitely a usable gizmo. Not as powerful as a 100W wall wort, but a lot more practical when you’ve got a half dozen gadgets to keep topped off. Meanwhile, at home I added an Anker 525 (A91C0), an up to 67W charging station. It’s hanging out on my night stand, ready to recharge, e.g., a MacBook Air and iPad and ES100 and iPod ... (Manual with specs) Fully loaded it’ll put out a maximum of 30W on one USB-C port, 20W max on the other, and 15W max shared between the two USB-A ports (Anker’s product page). More than enough for almost every one of my usual daily needs. Update: I liked it so much, when I got a new sofa and had to figure out new charging infrastructure (for my lazy ass and for guests), I picked up another 525 that sits under the sofa. Great device, well worth the $65 or so (and now, 10/27/2023, I see it’s selling for $42!). There’s not much it won’t charge quite capably.
