Identifying the new Meze 99 Classics (non-“bass canon” revision)

Apparently, mid-2023 or so, Meze did a silent update to their 99 Classics headphones (I got ’em for $ $219 new January 2024; watch for transient price reductions), eliminating the over-emphasized, muddy bass many had complained about (details, and more details). I am informed and believe that if a pair has the rubber ring pointed out below, they’re the revised, “tight bass” version.
