Small desktop fans
SLENPET fan |
I’m still loving the rechargeable Holmes 4” Personal Fan ($13) I use on the balcony.
My first “Beskar” fan (6" USB, model no. ZLS-E260) died, but it took almost 20 months to do so and it was / is cheap ($10.49 in spring 2021, $15 now), so I bought a couple of replacements.
But that was before I found the SLENPET 6 inch USB Desk Fan ($20). Plugged into a good USB power source (not most computer ports; needs 2A of current), it really blows, but really, even the very first, lowest, setting, moves more than enough air – and does so quietly. It’s now a fixture on my office desk, and looks fairly nice. Bonus.
(I’d love to have a bladeless Dyson, but I haven’t quite gotten to where I can justify $300+ for a desk fan, no matter how stylish.)
The Vornado Flippi V6 was a huge disappointment (you can barely feel any air move two inches from the fan on the low setting, and the high setting is both not much more effective, and quite loud). Also, 110V is just inconvenient.
